Spinach Dip

SPINACH DIP

1. Stir together until smooth:

1 pkg. frozen, chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry;

1 pkg. Knoor Vegetable Soup mix;

1 pint sour cream; and

1 cup mayonnaise.

2. Add:

1 can (8 oz.) water chestnuts, sliced (Optional);

3 green onions, chopped (some of green part and all of white).

3. Chill for 2 hours.

4. When ready to serve, hollow out the center of a round loaf of rye, Hawiaiin or

pumpernickel bread and fill cavity with the dip. Use bread as the dipping utensil!

Ya, its a really big hit at all of the gatherings i take it to, and ppl ask me to bring it again, or give them the recipe.

my aunt has made this dip for parties for years; it really is good. :)
